Atrial Fibrillation

Atrial Fibrillation is the most common arrhythmia or abnormal heart rhythm affecting millions of people annually. It is characterized by an irregular heartbeat, which can be felt by taking a pulse. Instead of the normal rhythmic pulse, the pulse felt during atrial fibrillation is very irregular. To understand why this happens, let’s look at how the normal heart works to develop a regular heartbeat.
